Gamhar comes from southern Africa and has a high density, really heavy quality. It burns longer and has a high energy value. So you can easily reach a high temperature. Gamhar is used to manufacture furniture and decks for boats, for example. Beautiful chunks of charcoal (4-12cm), perfect for the BBQ. Pure restaurant quality, absolutely free of chemicals. The smell and flavour are neutral, perfect as a base charcoal with a very good price/quality ratio!
